INFORMATION BEFORE USING SKELAXIN DRUG
Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions including kidney disorders, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
DIRECTIONS ON USING SKELAXIN DRUG
Follow the directions for using skelaxin provided by your doctor. Store skelaxin drug at room temperature, away from heat and light. If you miss skelaxin dose, take next skelaxin dose if it is within 1 hour of the missed dose. If it is more than 1 hour since the missed skelaxin dose, skip it and go back to your regular skelaxin dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor. Do not take 2 skelazin doses at once.
CAUTIONS ON USING SKELAXIN
Skelaxin 800 mg medicine drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. Skelaxin pill will add to the effects of alcohol and other depressants. Do not drink alcohol without first discussing with your doctor. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants. For patients with diabetes mellitus, skelaxin may cause false test results with some urine glucose tests. Check with your doctor before adjusting the dose of your diabetes medicine or changing your diet.
